Via their inverter, most UPS are designed to power connected loads continuously, which insures a break-free supply of electrical energy in the event of a mains failure. Without UPS, Loads would not be able to operate during a power outage. It is due to this that UPS are considered critical to business continuity, and Load bank testing is implemented to ensure UPS can meet the requirements of their intended purpose when most needed.
Operation performance and battery autonomy of the UPS system is validated with load bank testing, which tests the UPS and generator under load conditions as part of preventative maintenance. This enables them to be replaced in advance of critical application.
